Scavenger Hunts aren’t just for kids anymore. Simply, break everyone up into groups and send them out to have a scavenger hunt around the city. This is something you can organize yourself using landmarks, or you can use a service like City Hunt or an app like Stray Boots. Your team will enjoy a day out of the office while participating in fun challenges. Taking photos along the way and compiling them at the end will make for a great slideshow that your team can reminisce about in the days (or weeks!) to come. feel nice and rejuvenated after some fresh air and fun challenges.

2. Escape Rooms

Escape Rooms have become all the rage lately; and for good reason – they’re a great way to get your team to work together toward a common goal! An escape room is also known as an "escape game." It is a physical adventure game where teams must solve a series of puzzles using clues and hints to strategize their way out of a room within a set time limit. Escape rooms have grown in popularity and can now be found in all major cities around the world!

3. Board Game Tournaments

Need a way to spark a little friendly competition within your teams without having to leave the office? Why not organize a board game tournament? Some companies set up tables with different games, but if your team is large, it might be easier to select a single game and let people sign up for different time slots. Some great team building board games with reasonable play times include Jenga, Mad Gab, Pictionary, and Boggle. Some offices keep board games and playing cards in their break rooms to encourage impromptu team building all the time!

4. Charitable Activities

Sometimes the best kind of team building is the kind that benefits others. Many companies adopt local charities and send teams to volunteer to give back to their communities. Food banks, Boys & Girls Clubs, and homeless shelters are just a few examples of places your team can go to make a difference in the lives of others. During the holidays, many children’s charities need volunteers to organize toy drives. Ask around the office and get recommendations from your team. Odds are, they are already volunteering individually, you just don’t know it. Why not make it a team effort? Giving time to support a good cause isn't just good for the soul; it's also a great way for your team members to bond. If you need help finding a cause, try Volunteer Match.
