SUMMARY

(Part-Time, non-exempt) Responsible for managing the accounts payable process to ensure efficiency, accurate transaction reporting, timely payments, and GAAP compliance.  Manages the purchase order and invoice approval process supporting operations, sales, billing, and administration.  Prepares month end financial reports and annual tax documents.

Corporate office located in Plano, TX.

Essential Job Functions

  • Administers AP email inbox, including vendor correspondence, internal invoice approval flow, and document archiving.
  • Maintains an updated and accurate vendor database in QuickBooks.
  • Participates in process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Assists in documentation of AP policy and procedures.
  • Prepares and processes weekly payments (checks, wires, ACH and Credit Card) for multiple business entities in various currencies.
  • Performs month end and quarter end financial close duties including reconciliations, reporting, and auditing.
  • Assists in administration of online expense reimbursement system and company credit card program.
  • Leads and/or performs ad hoc analysis on special projects and/or provides support to such projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • 2+ years’ experience of AP processing in QuickBooks.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business preferred. Five plus years’ experience in accounting capacity required.
